ABOUT ME

Samantha grew up in a small town outside of Boston and has lived in Vermont during her time at University of Vermont. During her junior year, she did a study abroad program, Semester at Sea, and had the chance to visit 11 different countries in South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. She captured many moments through her camera, documenting the stories she learned by interviewing residents in port and exploring different sites. Her travels gave her the opportunities to write feature stories, shoot videos, and document moments through her photos. The time abroad gave her opportunities to learn beyond the classroom and understand perspective outside herself. Not only did this broaden her horizon through her work, but she was able to bring those skills back with her to Vermont. Her time at the University of Vermont employed her with an array of skills in graphic design, photo-editing, color grading for videos, and learning to adjust her designs on a range of applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Canva.
